It seems that I need one or or just a little bit of direction to get this right. In the Winphlash64 folder from the original download from HP there is a file labeled bios.wph. In the download from Yen that file is not there and when you try to run winphlash64.exe you get the following error: The input file 'BIOS.WPH' can not be found. A valid filename must be specified to continue.
If I take the BIOS.WPH from the original HP download, drop it in that folder and run the utility again my BIOS is flashed but not updated to SLIC 2.1.
If I am doing something wrong I apologize for causing this frustration but I am puzzled.
    Thanks!

It is very simple....rename the bios file of yen to BIOS.WPH and the problem is solved

I just downloaded your file and there is no BIOS.WPH file in it.

I attached some pics to try and clear this up for both of us. In them you will see the hp download on the left and yen's on the right - both as they were received - nothing added or removed. Short of some differences in dates they are pretty much the same. In the second pic you are looking in the Winphlash64 folder. Again, hp on the left and yen's on the right. In the hp folder there is a bios.wph file, in yen's there is not.
So when you say that you downloaded my file and there was no bios.wph file in it, are you talking about the one from hp or yen's?
If I am to rename the bios file of yen, which file would that be the 30CFF32A_MOD.WPH or the 30CFF32B_MOD.WPH

I am in no way trying to be a dick, I just need to be absolutely clear before I flash again as bricking this thing would be a real bummer.

My last advise tonight, before I go to sleep. NEVER flash from 64 bit and NEVER from W7 64 bit....flashing through 64 bit isn't reliable......good nite...:D;)

when you said: There are 2 Different Bios Files in this Download - The first Modified Bios file is 30CFF32B_SLIC.WPH and the second is 30CFF32A_SLIC.WPH. Determine which one fits your computer.
How do I determine which one fits?
    Thanks again!
