    From your advice I modified the BIOS with the award tool, however, I can not flash it from Windows 7 64bit. I tried 2 versions of winflash and they both say that my BIOS is not an award bios.

    How did you flash yours?

    Yen,

    I don't know about the BIOS link so I went to the Acer website. I found that there is an update for my BIOS, so I downloaded and flashed it. I added the zipped BIOS update in my post above. Is that correct?

    Sorry for my n00bishness :D

    BTW, if my BIOS were modded, where do I look for the result? Will it be posted in my post or in the Modded Bios List in the sticky?
