Phoenix bios SLIC mod requests (*.WPH or *.ROM files).

    Hello Americans! (I'm Swedish:D)

    I'm also new hear and I don't know really much about editing in BIOS, but I learn! I won't do anything until I feel 100% safe AND IF the computer will be heart then I can buy a new one;) Training on my bad ones! SO...

    I have checked and I'm sure of that I have SLIC 2.0 and of course I want 2.1 for Windows 7. Please somebody help me with this. I honestly have looked every f**king where on the internet and nobody got my.. what I found.

    Motherboard model: MCP77MV
    Motherboard Chipset: NIVIDIA nForce
    Bios Manufacterer: Phoenix Techonologies
    Bios Version: F.22 or 17.07A (I'm not sure here)
    Computer Brand: HP/Compaq CQ60


    And you have to excuase me for my bad english. Hope someone can help me!

    This is a winphlash issue, not a mod issue:
    Edit the PHLASH.INI of winphlash with notepad.

    [UI]
    advanced=1

    If this section not exists, just write it.
    press now enabled advanced option button, untick:

    -flash only if bios version is different
    -flash only if bios version is newer than system
    -verify bios checksum
    -verify bios part number

    tick
    -verify block after programming.

    These are the SAFEST settings for winphlash
