    Thanks for the praise. Nothing I hate more is something wrongly documented and vague instructions. Unfortunately, iaTa is AWOL in this thread (sent him PMs a month or more ago and no response). I believe he modified the 9C.17 by hand.

    sorry if I answer only now but I had some problems. I have the bios V1.00L10 M10, and I can not update it, I always get the answer
    ERROR: This program will not run on this PC.
    I have no idea how to update it and I can not install Win Vista / 7 because I do not recognize some devices.
    Thanks in advance ...

    Hi Andeee,

    the original Bios 09LI has already Slic 2.1 (and Slic 2.0) in it.
    Works perfect with Vista and W7 (Vista: 2.0 certificate, W7 2.1 certificate).

    But also the modded Bios should work.

    If you have still 08Li on your Laptop: this one also has both slics in it and works for W7 activation.
