Well I've had enough of win 10 (not original but updated ver) as it just wont install or run my inkjet and laser printers..no problem with win 11 updated on my 10 year old computer using the "work around". Apparently some other people have the same problem on the net.
Not all my machines are able to run Win11. I'll wait this time around. Win10 is running fine and I really don't want to deal with compatibility issues that some users are having. Perhaps when Win11 is more polish. I really don't want to replace any working machines just to be able to run the latest OS when the old one works just fine. Why spend more $$$? I really don't see the benefit at this time. Good luck to those who switched.
I will eventually update to Windows 11, just as I did with 98, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. I'm quite happy with Windows 10 today when it's finally a bit more mature then when 1507 launched. Besides I don't really need Windows 11 in my life right now with all the hassle of potential things that might go wrong, be incompatible, driver hunt, software hunt and hours of hours of installing, testing software etc. It just takes to much time and besides I finally migrated from Enterprise 1909 to Enterprise 21H1 and things have been butter smooth. This time I just might skip LTSC 2021 enteriely and move directly to Windows 11 in a couple of years when I even have a new gaming computer. Long story short, I won't make the same mistakes as in the past and jump on to a new OS that isn't matured. With age comes maturing.
how many computers you think i own..? i can say its more than you Probly by 30 what you dont have plus 3d printers and laser engravers next item im building is a cnc unit oh and 1 more to add the comp that holds all my contacts and who i talk to that holds time/date/qsl number and name and what country they are from. then there is my car i have windows 10 pro hdmi stick rtl-sdr.com stick dvd sterio with 12" screen and a ham radio rig so as you can see i knda dont own much ay
I am going to wait until Microsoft polished Windows 11, a little more. This is also the recommendation of some internet pundits.
I honestly have no clue what this has to do with the remark that 21996.1 is not win 11 by far. ps, my wife threw 30+ p4 or equivalent amd systems out the last 2 years
My favorite thing is when I say something to someone and then they change the subject and go on the defensive about something that has nothing to do with the original subject. He's just looking for any excuse to tell anyone who will listen that he has 30 computers and a car.
I am largely tired of it. I can tolerate it up to 10, but Defender is still one of the largest issues I have with 11 so far. I want it gone, and I'm intelligent enough to know I want it gone. Disabling real-time scanning is a one-and-done deal on 10, but it insists on re-enabling itself on 11 even after registry and group policy settings. That blatant lack-of control bothers me. The only reason I know real-time scanning exists at all is because it slows my I/O down significantly. I just simply want it disabled; I don't want to remove permissions off of it or outright delete it or even have to set exclusions (this only works around the fact it's still running). I want a simple toggle to turn it off. I have other minor gripes about 11, but this is just too stupid of an issue for me to brush off. Unfortunately, until I can comfortably use VR on Linux, I need to tolerate a Windows install. For now, 10 works fine enough.
I have windows 11 installed on a 15 year old dell (came with vista), a 12 year toshiba, and a 3 year old MSI. I of course, used the TOOLKIT to customize its installation. Took out a lot of stuff, But, I am very happy with my windows 11, and will not go back to windows 10
hohoho oh no need huh? why upgrade to windows 11? Just move to windows 10, I'm already lazy (lol) Best Regards NST_Adventure
Many users are limited in several things, one is the desire of the other are realistic possibilities.
so far no problem's updated to windows 11 pro 64 on one asus computer, did a little adjusting so far so good, never had rounded corners also moved icons back to the left on the task bar the ones on the right are the same as before ! i will wait a while and if it stays ok i will upgrade my dell i do believe if there is bug it will be on the dell !
I'll have to wait a year or two.. Maybe in 2022 or 2023, Microsoft will finally add all that we take for granted in Windows 10.
Maybe. I'll only consider it once there is a LTSC version and once it's confirmed that the performance issues with AMD relative to Intel have been fixed.
W11 LTSC + stable Windows Subsystem for Android is a dream machine. Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet.
