    Hi Yen,

I am just back today, here attached the Acpiscope report, this is after i make clean install for win VISTA to remove the doubt of any softmod, but still EVEREST showing emulated SLIC, i have looked to the Acpiscope i found there only SLIC2.0.

Can you have a look and confirm please.

This bios is Phoenix for HP notebook DV2530 you mod for me for HP SLIC 2.1 last week.

Unfortunately not. We need tools such as delldeco to get further in the modding process....:(

I've checked the acpitable report....honestly I don't know what else I can do. The mod seems to be perfect!

I'm sorry if I didn't explain well. My bad. :)

Yes, China4Ever's mod works great! No complaints at all.
His hard work is very respectful and I thank him for his huge effort.
And so is yours, by the way.

But the bios he modded for me has slic 2.0, doesn't it?
So, since I want to be "Win7-ready", I would like to have a bios mod with Acer slic 2.1 table.

Also, I would like to know if an Acer slic 2.1 modded bios can be compatible with Vista (activation) too.

But I would highly appreciate the mod anyway.

The only idea I have left it to flash the mod using Phoenix crisis recovery method. I'm sure the mod is save and additionally you are able to recover using original bios in case of a bad flash........
