    Hi tried your instructions... I don't get the prompt that I can edit the modules..

    I get an error saying: Could not find file BIOSCOD02_SLIC.ROM

    Help please! Dying to get my WWAN card fitted...

    You are right. It seems there is a bug in andys tool will report it.

    I have done some experiments:
    It seems you are familiar with hexediting and stuff:

    To circumvent the bug tick additionally:
    don't alter any acpi tables.

    Then the tool asks to reintegrate BIOSCOD06.ROM
    Next problem:
    The phnxpatch patches the module and its compressed size will be larger then! It results to unable to reintegrate BIOSCOD06.ROM!
    This is a rare issue. To make it fit again you have to edit some plain text additionally!
    Open BIOSCOD06.ROM after it was patched with phnxpatch and go to offset 2CBFh.

    Change there the text: No Asset Information to No Asset Info:

    Important is that you are running the same original biosversion already. If not, please update to the original first.

    Also use the original flash tool that come with the lenovo update.
    There are 32 bit and 64 bit folders. Choose the appropriate folder and edit the phlash.ini. Right click on it-->edit.
    Add a line to the [UI] section advanced=1 and save the ini.
    Then run winphlash:
    The mod is named $01C2100_SLIC.ROM 3118 KB in size.
    Close all applications!
    Upon opening the WinPhlash click "Advanced Settings" then check and uncheck the boxes so it looks like this:

    ("Flags" Tab):
    [ ] Verify BIOS part number
    [ ] Flash only if BIOS version is different
    [ ] Flash only if BIOS version is newer
    [ ] Verify BIOS image size
    [ ] Verify BIOS checksum
    [ ] Zero block before erasing
    [x] Verify block after programming
    [x] Disable Axx swaping automatic detection (if present)
    [ ] Clear CMOS Checksum

    ("DMI" tab)
    "Update": Select "Update the BIOS and not DMI"

    I had that posted before, right. But at that time I didn't know about the reintegration problem. ;)

    It should work. I use the phnxpatch many times. At your bios the reintegration problem occurs, that's special. To edit plain text never harmed so far.

    ausdim told me he has searched 3 days for the right crisis files. It seems his files only work..hopefully..exchange his bios.wph with yours. Also format it FAT.

    I have modified that bios already. It was a SLIC addition though. That mod worked. I'm concerned since I don't know what went wrong....keep my fingers crossed.
