Sometimes it worked when using a floppy instead of a stick. I know success stories when used the crisis files on floppy.. Anyway I would not invest much money, maybe to borrow one. I don't know how I can help you further atm....I'm really concerned, even though all whitelist mods have worked before....but this fact isn't helpful for you. Is there still warranty on your notebook? I guess I'm afraid you would have to go for repair..... At Notebooks it's difficult to desolder the chip, unless you are familiar with such things...
In Europe it should be covered. Wouldn't say it was a mod, just a official biosupdate, or even nothing about bios. You also may PM me about any further news. I feel sad about, but I cannot notice about a mistake based on my experience. I hope it comes finally to an happy end. Let me know if I can do anything else for you.
I know this sounds odd. But to have a look at your manual...something about recovery? Any CD's that came with the notebook? Or to ask the lenovo support about instructions via support e mail...I have searched but have found nothing special for your model at google.

Hey, i fixed my Biosfile with the new ID`s , its now a FD! Thank u ! If I try to flash with insydeflash, the tool tell me: The BIOS image is corrupted or does not contain the correct digital signature. EDIT: Ok, I think the checksum? is the problem !Some people in a forum told, that I have to fit the checksum... HOW?
Need Help Hello all, I need some help. I have a Hp compaq nc6320 with a modded bios made by TTAV134 for windows 7. I manage to modify whitelist for mine Intel 5100 AGN wifi card.I tried to flash the bios with this mod, but he won`t update. In DOS he had a checksum error. Then a tried it in Windows, and there was a message corrupted file. So wat I did, i installed a other Hard drive, new windows xp installation, and then flashed the bios back to original. Then I modify the whitelist from the original bios, and flashed the bios in DOS with this mod. That was no problem, Windows detected the card and installed it. But now I have no Windows 7, because I have no slic 2.1 table in the bios. I have tried to insert a slic table in the bios file with help from the tutorial from TTAV134, but wen I hpqflash start, he say corrupted file. So is er a possibility to insert a slic table in mine modded bios? Thanks in advance. Regards.
