Yes, but only the one with the modded whitelist but not the one with the modded whitelist and slic table. No I am sorry, I just starting with bios modding. I did only a compaq nc4200 and a nc6320. Regards.
Can you post what you did so far? Some EFI (Intel) are digitally signed. Andy's tool corrects all known EFI checksums already. A signature is much more than just checksums....it's practically impossible to sign the mod. Anyway it's new (to me) that HP uses signed EFI....
Which tutorial have you used to insert SLIC? There is also a way to insert the SLIC by modifying the RAM directly.
Yes, I Flashed the bios with the flasher that came with the bios mod.I think it is a patched flasher. I modded the whitelist from the original bios, and flashed the bios with this one. So i do not have ad the moment slic 2.1. But wat I do not understand is the fact that I flashed this mod in DOS with the original rompaq sp38743, I only changed the bin file.To try if I can mod this bios with slic 2.1 I had downloaded sp3872 and packed it out. I replaced the Rom.bin with the one that I modded, and tried to modify with slic 2.1. I have tried that with the original HPQ flasher but I get the message the file is corrupted. So I do not know what else I can do. Thanks in advance. Regards.
U flashed ur modded bios without the "right" checksum , and it worked? How do u do it? i got a insyde bios...
I'm now at home and can have a closer look. Can you upload please your whitelist patched bios that has worked?
