Added Packages Uninstall Lists: for manual unstall to OP (install_wim_tweak.exe Download Link + Syntax + Lists).
A lot here download the Updates already for Offline Install and Integration. Only needs to re-enable to search for them. Then disable again.
Didn't see any, would be interested to know for WU TOOL. MS completely changed WU behaviour in 10. It now uses ETLs and although i know how to create the ETLs for WU and convert to TXT/XML, i couldn't find any useful info in them .
Yep, can delete it within running Windows and can be used to delete in mounted WIM. Tool offers option to Mount/Unmount and is able to convert ESD>>WIM, so one can mount them. So: mount the WIM, delete the wanted packages and unmount afterwards. Tool is shipped with all needed files.
So if I delete all before then Windows won't have Onedrive, Defender right? Would be interesting to create a iso from PRO version without Metro Crap apps, Telemetry, OneDrive etc..
Test it and we will know. At least the script removes them from online system and from mounted WIM, as tested positive here. Feel free to share your findings .

So if not something like TinyWall, what would you recommend? If we disable the search packages will it prevent us from using search functionality? Cortana can go die in a fire, but I would still like to be able to search for stuff.
Finally I have a Windows 10 without Cortana, Edge, IE, WMP, Metro Apps, Telemetry (at least for the evidently part), but I fear with the next patch I get all this bulls**t again. Hmm, why I do not use Linux? I am gaming no more anyways or I just go back to my beloved 7.
I find myself wondering the same thing. Having spent the last few days removing the things I don't want/need and attempting to disable all of the data collecting services, what I have left is a slightly more secure Windows 7! Unfortunately, I have to keep windows around simply because one of the games I play runs horribly under wine. However, I don't really need Windows 10 for that, so I'll probably return to 7 in the next day or so.
