    Hi guys,
    can someone pls comment on how to decompress or extract the sony bios from the exe file? I am trying to avoid the bios downgrade.

    i put this bios but i can't activate windows 7 with win 7loader v1.5 relase 2

    So i finally did it

    So i am on the end of my road - really big thx to all there (specially to Yen for all his hardwork)

    I have now Vaio SZ3XP/C with fully working activated Windows 7, have new bios with ability to boot from USB stick (there was no way to do this with last "official" version of bios for SZ3XP/C, simple everything is fine and smooth...

    when offcial Sony 2.1 SLIC will come out i will please Yen to modify R0112N0 with Sony SLIC...

    now the last thing is to again activate support for Hardware Virtualization and i will be very lucky person.

    If somebody interested - just see the screenshots...

    I'm glad it worked for you know. A pci-mod wouldn't be possible as you have reported already, because the mod was well done, but didn't work at your bios.
