intel:intel I remember someone here requested for an slp 1.0 mod for an intel-genuine bios because he/she failed him/herself in modding with itk ("someone" and "someday" because the text searcher won't work for me...). I tried itk for an intel-genuine bios and succeeded. The manufacturer entry of that model probably hit the valid range of address.
Msi G965m BIOS Request Motherboard Manufacturer and Model (MSI G965M) Bios Type (AMI) Revision 1.5 SLP 1 & 2 - MSI Bios Link. //global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloadfile&dno=6127&type=bios
DG33FB with "AcerSystem" Hi, Yen. It's "AcerSystem", not "Hewlett" and the mobo is DG33FB. I simply added that string in the entry "System Manufacturer" on itk and created a bootable disk with an autoexec.bat where the code was written to replace the existing bios with the new version of .bio and then make the corresponding .itw (with "AcerSystem") fused. Its activation was verified by the command "c:\windows\system32\oobe\msoobe /a" That was as simple & easy as the DMIcfg method. I thought before it would be unsuccessful because nobody had reported his/her success with this mobo though the method is very simple.
The batch file name I made the description for was probably "itk.bat" as someone says above, not "autoexec.bat" (it was prob simply relayed by itk.bat)...
