Not to be lazy, but since you have to create a floppy, please try it yourself like britty58 did! ;)

    Hi Yen,

To help Sloozer out, his D865GBF is pretty much the same as my D865GSAL so it should work. What I did is what you said: In ITK Generate everything it should leave you with a: Autoexec.bat, iflash.exe, itk.bat, itoolkit.ini and of course the xxx.bio file.

In ITK I put the "HP Pavilion" (No Quotes, All Caps" under two categories:
System Manufacture and System Serial Number. Note The Oem Bios Files I used was CRC 06D652A4.

Only thing I Did differently was instead of putting the Files ITK made to a floppy, I put them to a usb Flash without ITK autoexec.bat (my usb flash) is already bootable. Now I just called the "ITK.bat" which then Flashed the Bios.

Another thing I did notice, on one of the Boards, If I originally had started with say the same bois version say Bio1032 and flashed with the modded Bio1032 it went perfect, But if the original was say Bio1028 then flashed modded Bio1032 it flashes to the new version but without the string, I had to reflash a second time to get the string in there, kinda quirky.

Hope this helps, but he should be able to get that board modded looking at the specs it almost the same as the 865Gsal.

Fzeven "You are a huge Dell fan"

Ha, NO I'm a very least Dell Fan. I have the XP/Vista Disks made up so it's
    easier for me.

Until I get off my Tail and make a Multi OEM you will see:
"Fzeven Dell for Both" Thought it was funny you seen that!

Well back to work, your patiently waiting to see if 3 of your Mods will work on 3 Boards you did for me (I'm sure they will)

I'll be getting back to soon, by the way got another coming for you
and don' forget "Dell for Both"

    Have Fun!
