    ???????????

I checked and it has ASUS SLIC inside it. How can you say it's not modded ???

I'm sorry, but when I opened and searched it with WinHEX editor, I couldn't find any mention of "SLIC" there.

Have you ever heard about compression of modules? I don´t see your conclusion that there should be no SLIC inside!

Try it, I´m shure it´ll work. There is no reason to mistrust.

I checked again, I used winhex and put as text search "SLIC" and it has SLIC, I can't understand. Maybe you've opened original bios, as the one I linked to you is modded 100%.

So I tried flashing with afudos...but flashing couldn't be done :( DOS writes:

ASF Sign. not found, no flashing information available or sth like that...maybe I wrote the syntax not correctly, so please, could you write exactly the syntax, which is needed, if my modded bios is "k7v4apr1.80" ? Thx a lot!

speaking of this, apprently some guy called anton said: "I tried "xfv", version3 last year - try to find it with google first.
This is python app. efidecomp is another catcha."

when i asked him about decompressing the intel EFI bios.

    very cryptic.

of course, i tried googling and came up with nothing. does anyone here know what he's talking about?

I have 2 systems on which i want to install vista. Mod 1 allows me to install it on one of my systems, but that bios is not compatible with my second board. To install Vista on my second system i need mod 2 :(

I don't understand. Have you got two identical boards ??? Mod1 and Mod2 are for the same motherboard (but mod1 only works). So you need to ask for the bios for second board (if different). Please explain better your problem.
