    I'm not able to extract WPH from exe file (if exe is not compressed like winzip self-extract) and in that case only solution is to backup current bios using WinPhlash.

    I suggest you to use standard command prompt activation procedure.

    Hmm. I see some change in BIOSCOD1.ROM. But ACPI2.BIN is the same as in the original BIOS. The new file I see in your mod is ACPI7.ROM, which is nothing but the actual HP SLIC table file.

    Can you guide me as to what you changed in BIOSCOD1.ROM? Just want to learn this stuff. Thanks!

    Motherboard: Epox EP-8KRA(I)
    BIOS link: no can do, can't find just right now?.
    MB chipset is KT600, i can find better specs tomorrow, if this is not fine?


    and i hope that this could be done in _asus_ slic..

    this bios is coming to my mother's computer :)

    Sloozer, Everest doesn't show that your bios has the SLIC table. It won't activate without it...
