OK..I reseted the system, it went into the same boot mode. I tried reflashing it with the factory P02 bios...same thign, the AWDFLASH will NOT flash (the progress bar will not start - like it's frozen) ..anything i need to do?

I was thinking of trying the /py switch...is there any way to force a flash.

there are nvidia-specific switches for awdflash (found out by /?) Do i need to use them?

    Please help.

    Actually

No matter the switches, AWDflash is loaded automatically, without reading AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

    I have flashed mobo's hundreds of times...so i am not a n00b.

    It's stuck on this screen:

    Award BootBlock BIOS v1.00
Copyright (c) 2000, Award Software, Inc.

    BIOS ROM checksum error

    Detecting floppy drive A media...
INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

    OK..here is the latest.

I was able to, with use of this string in the autoexec.bat file:

    awdflash.exe NF66_P02.BIN /PY /SN /CC /CP /CD /QI /cw /F

get to the point where it tries to flash the bios, but comes up with "Flash ROM is write protected. Please make sure whether Lockout Jumpers is set to correct or not"

That's what i am trying to work around. uniflash doesn't work, as the BlockBoot just starts AWDflash.exe automatically.

There are no other options at startup. China4ever, anyone, pelase help. I have been doing research for hours now, to no avail.

I had used the flash utility that came with the BIOS archive.
Download the BIOS file in the motherboard website, selecting
    the DOS version.

Differences are only techniques used to mod bios, try one of them and tell me if it works.
