    Req Asus P6b 1405

My results agree with DiscoBoy's. I got the 1202 version he referenced to work, but the 1405 does not. Same results as DiscoBoy.

The 1405 is supposed to be hot stuff for Core2Duo users. I appreciate all the help.

Simply press F1, change bios settings, save and that issue should disappear.

Enter setup (f1) and load setup defaults or load optimized defaults.(you have to move through menu until you have found it) Save settings and exit setup. Have a look into your motherboard's manual.

What about updating a working mod using Asusupdate? There is a chance to remain SLIC in that kind of bios.

Tried clear CMOS after flashing new bios?

    Hi Yen,

    Updating using Asusupdate:

Do you mean flash the working 1202 modded BIOS via AFUDOS then use AsusUpdate to flash the non working 1405 modded BIOS?

Tried clear CMOS after flashing new BIOS:

No, as I have never needed to before, but I will try it if you believe it could help?

    Many thanks,
    Discoboy

    Hi,

Try Mod1 then Mod2 and report back to China4Ever your findings for both mods.
