    @Santa

    I believe your install order is wrong and should be:

    1. Enter key 6F2D7 - when asked by Vista during install of Vista (I do it this way every time and always works for me)

    Or

    1. Enter key after Vista install with slmgr.vbs -ipk 6FD7 -

    2. Copy oemcert.xrm-ms to C:\root

    3. Install Cert by slmgr.vbs -ilc C:\oemcert.xrm-ms

    4. Vista should now be activated

    I.E Key before Cert and not Cert before Key as you have done

    ;)

    Thanks, I checked once again, so flashed bios with afudos with /pbnc /n parameters, installed vista (during installation typed 6F2D7- key). After it was finished, turned off UAC, enabled administrator account, reboot computer, login as administrator and typed slmgr.vbs -ipk 6FD7, got message successfully, after typed slmgr.vbs -ilc C:\oemcert.xrm-ms, got message successfully, reboot computer. BUT still windows is not activated. :eek: If I use a “Type a different product key” button and put 6F2D7- key I get an error code 0xc004e003. :confused:
    Life is cruel. :(

    Hi Yen, you have probably overlooked my post #2940 (page 294), but I don't want to give up!:) So what do you suggest?
