    I know how to extract cert. from tokens.dat. From an activated SLP 2.0 oem Vista-PC You (I) can:

    Extract cert. from tokens.dat
    Extract corresponding SLIC from RAM.

    Those two you can import to (almost) any system and activate.

    No, there is a code that prevents fully mapping of SLIC. I try to find it.

    O.K. It is not possible to extract "activation code" from a retail activated PC and import. Retail activation has always to be against M$.

    You need a OEM SLP 2.0 activated machine. The cert you will get by extracting from tokens.dat.
    The SLIC you will get by extracting from RAM. You need everest to find start address of SLIC. Then you have to dump it (176h size) using Hwdirect.

    The SLIC has to be imported into bios as we do. Finally you have to apply the extracted cert against SLIC in bios.

    This is the procedure we are doing here. We already got some SLIC's and matching cert's so we don't have to extract the SLIC again.

    @Fzeven:

    About the CMOS checksum issue: I figured out that those original Asus bioses, opened with winhex, have "ASUSTEK" string followed by 9 zero bytes. These bytes are gone after editing (they all changed to ffh) You have to restore them after modding;)
