    i have hp nx7300 laptop,which has slic but i cant activate vista (oem and emulator) . does some1 knows how to activate it? i tried few hacks, but none works. i tried it on clean install, no dual boot. ????

    Maby you have a half slic?
    Have you used Everest to look at RSDT&SLIC table?

    I need your help:)

    Please apply original bios and install acpiscope. Goto file -----> load ACPI information ----->from bios. Right click on RSDT tabe and SLIC table (if present) and save both and upload. We need that information to think about. I also need a screenshot of RSDT report overview.(left click on RSDT and screenshot)
