YEN, I checked the Mod 2 SLIC of the Giga-Byte GA-7N400 Pro2 board in Everest:

    Memory Address: FFFAE829
    Table Length: 374 bytes
    OEM ID: _ASUS_
    OEM Table ID: Notebook
    Creator ID: MSFT

So I guess it exists, but Vista is not happy with it.

The full SLIC dump is attached.

    Thanks YEN!!
I am glad that you said it "MUST Activate", because that made me go over everything again and grab another ASUS Certificate file plus another Prod Key in case. And it all worked this time!
I had done a few other PC's fine with the files I had but I guess something went amiss.

So thanks HEAPS for the perseverance.

And now I can confirm that the:

GA-7N400 Pro2 Rev 1.0 SLIC BIOS Mod 2 WORKS. Vista Activates.

There is not enough space to add SLIC. Therefore I have to remove epa logo.
