I know I posted an EXE for the IBM NetVista BIOS, however, it's actually a program for WINDOWS, a WinFlash. When installed, the actual FILE can be seperated. The other link for the IBM one has the FDD and ISO versions, if needed. But can this motherboard be able to have SLIC? What about the ASUS CUV4X-E I posted afterwards? I doubt the ASUS can have it, since it's old, but who knows.
Hmm...perhaps not then. I don't want to risk it, since it's my main PC. The Asus machine is my backup PC, and I can replace the BIOS if anything happens. Well, there is a recovery method on the IBM machine, but I dunno... Oh, installing VISTA now. Will post in around an hour with the result. NOTE: No, don't do it for now. Something tells me not to do the IBM motherboard...
Yen, the Asus BIOS did not work, unfortunately. Windows Ultimate still says I have 30 days to activate.
