    The bios is well done!
I've activated my vista just a moment ago
I't seem that the ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe and ASUS P4C800 Deluxe are two different product , the Eone is sell for HongKong and the other is sell for China.
Thank you very much,It's very nice of you

Oh yeah that link will work I just shortened the shown url to @hp.com
Let me know what is going on. I don't know why it just won't work.
I have tried to activate over and over with your mods, and my own and nothing goes. I used C:\windows\system32\slmgr -ato to activate and nothing, and also have tried slmgr.vbs -ilc C:\hp.xrm-ms and slmgr.vbs -ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx where odviously the x's represent the three different ultimate keys I know of. I tried a reinstall and everything, and nothing seems to be working. So the only thing I can think of is that either my keys don't match what is in the oem slic info or the oem slic info is incomplete for hp.
If you know what key I should be using for hp oem slic info that you have given me can you let me know so I can try it?

It says my key ending in 932cc is invalid for activation so it has to be the wrong key for slic table.

I just sent you the info... but by the looks of it it will be the same key... if it helps... the key that you're using appears to be the correct one for ASUS SLIC info. That's the key I'm using with ASUS SLIC and it works just fine for me. The info I sent also has that same key for HP... so maybe someone did a typo?

If it's possible to get your BIOS remodded with the ASUS SLIC info I think your key will work.

Sorry I didn't post back sooner. I never got a chance to test the HP DV9000 bios update you made with the ASUS SLIC in it. My father in law was the actual owner of the DV9033 we were trying to mod and he somehow screwed it up when he was flashing it with the modded HP Slic you made and the original un modded bios. Somehow for some reason when he tried putting the unmodded bios back onto it.... it messed up the firmware and now when the laptop is turned on it just sounds an alarm really loud. :( It is under warranty so he is gonna send it back and say it suddenly stopped working when he tried to update the bios using the firmware from their site. ;)

I am sure he will be able to get a replacement so there are no worries. The weird thing is it didn't mess it up the first time he flashed with the modded firmware. He even placed the original back and it was fine. Then he tried the modded one again and then back to original and it got messed up. I'm not sure exactly what went wrong. But I would put a warning on that firmware for others. ;) I have my DV9235 model as well that has the SLIC entry on it from hp because it came with vista... so if you need any info from it to help the DV9000 series just ask me.

Do you have any idea why the flashing would skip sections 2-17? Could it be possible that between 2-17 is where the SLIC table should be added and maybe the firmware from HP's website does not hold that area in the firmware at all? I'm wondering if my father in law was able to flash those areas... but since the firmware was from hp... those areas were blank and should not have been flashed? Or maybe I am digging to far into it and I am only confusing myself. LOL!

Anyways... thanks for all of your efforts China4Ever. I will be posting other (Cheaper) motherboards for you to mod. ;)
