Sorry that I take a hand in this. I had a look at this bios. And yes it is the *.wph file of course. This bios contains SLIC info already. But the pubkey and the marker are at separate addresses. To have a look what's already there you have to install Acpiscope and get the information from bios. Please upload the report file *.ats and I will have a look how to enable the SLIC! I also need the memory dump of the SLIC table, if present. Deinstall all softmod before, if used. Have you tried to activate it using HP cert already? Yen

Try to activate without using any softmod. If you are lucky it works without to modify the bios! Just apply hp cert and the key. P.S. I didn't take a hand in this cause you offered 20 bucks. It's just for proof of concept, cause I never saw this structure at a bios before. I would never modify a bios for money. This is a point of honor. Yen
Thanks for information: ok about bios mapped in RAM and retail license but I've also an OEM (SLP2.0) ASUS DVD original with a key never used why doesn't activate? I hate every kind of forced registration/activation I've purchased software if they want to register me they have to pay me! Bye ...
