    Your OEM DVD came together with a PC / laptop. This means the SoftwareLicense is Preinstalled (SLP) and must work ON THIS PC you 've purchased . If it don't you have the right to complain!

    I also hate every kind of forced registration/activation of a product that I've paid for already.

    Yes i'm booting into DOS. I'm using a boot Recovery DVD from Medion and it start under MS DOS.
    Is there perhaps an other way to get in DOS mode?

    But the Asrock DOS flash doesn't work proper.
    The WIN flash is doing its job, now I have version 1.60, but not activated ofcourse.
    Is it possible for you to make a WIN flash with MEDION insite, because I have a Medion OEM disk.
    Or is there an other flash tool for AMI that works under DOS

    Yes, It did, without a problem.

    So, MSI SLIC on MSI notebook, looks like original :)
    Well, to be honest I have Vista Home Pro purchased, but I like to test Ultimate as well :D

    Bootable usbstick or a bootable floppydisk.

    Does anyone know how to make the vmware bios do the preactivation? or will it just work? I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
