Stalling after usb mass storage can often be a card reader or a printer with a card reader in it, you just need to disable usb legacy support in the bios, happy the mod worked for you!
The problem is, there was nothing connected to USB... And to be more precise, the USB detection reported "0 mass storage devices" just before "crash" (fast, repeated, speaker "bips") Since the 1008.009 beta has caused some problem for some users, it's always nice to have the 1007 working
Thanks for pointing out. The "problem" is I'm ready to buy this barebone in the shop right now if Vista can be activated on this barebone successefully with or without BIOS modification. Will ANY slic available in BIOS work, or "working" slic must have specific parameters? If latter - will it be possible to "correct" slic? If this fact unknown, well, of course I'll try to buy hoping for a best.

I'm pretty sure you already know the rapidshare problem (as can be seen in my signature) and I just want the modders to ask wether it's ok if I download your files and upload them onto my box.net account for the member experiencing problems with rapidshare download, or not. [Yes, there are links provided, e.g. rapids**t which solve that certain problem, but sometimes it may be necessary to spread the modded bios my box.net way]. I didn't ask you Yen and just took your file and uploaded it. Hope you didn't mind. Why I'm asking: I just want to make sure that no one feels evaded...
