IIRC, when adding a new table to APIC, you should provide a free space(4 bytes) after previous table, otherwise, when microcode is loaded into flashrom, upper table will overlap top of the bottom table thus partially destroying it, hence you'll see black screen(correct me if i'm wrong, my ASM is quite rusty. Alternatively(but very lame) it would be to replace some existing table with SLIC, which i personally wouldn't recommend.
Thanks for the reply. I assume that you're referring to ACPI. So are you suggesting that I add 4 bytes of 00's to the end of acpitbl.bin before I append the acpislic.bin?
I went to the ASUS website to clarify and apparently the P5B-VM is a G965 chipset and the P5B-VM DO is the new Q965 chipset. Thankz, Take Carez and Laterz, WarriorOfStormz
