Request Okay I shall request for another Modded Bios Fujitsu A6020 Have SLIC But they did not have any Bios update for this notebook as this is pretty new .. Currently the SLIC is : [Original, preinstalled WinVista Home PRE] Memory address : 7F668E16h Table Length : 374 Bytes OEM ID : FUJ OEM TABLE ID : PC CREATOR ID : FUJ Fujitsu have more than 1 SLIC table .. I tried the emulator and it works . Emulated SLIC : Memory add : 7F6680C7h Table Length : 374 Bytes OEM ID: FSC OEM TABLE ID: PC CREATOR ID: LTP Motherboard's name as at Everest : Fujitsu FJNB1C2 Motherboard ID <DMI> BIOS TYPE : PHOENIX SYSTEM BIOS DATE : 01/09/2007 So maybe you could MOD the bios into the emulated bios type .. So it shld be FSC and not ASUS And btw before I mod the bios ... if I were to put my recovery DVD and reinstall it back to WinHome Pre will it be automatically activated ? Because the SLIC had changed ... And lastly I would like to make another request ,previously , the AMI bios that you had made for me to be change to HP instead of ASUS , the ID .. I would like to play safe With that I would like to wish you luck and lastly thank you for taking so much time to help us mod our bios ~! As thats the safest way to avoid being detected by m$ for life
MSI K8MM-V (MS 7142) Modified Bios Hello, I've heard of a modded bios for this motherboard to allow support for turion and athlon mobile for the MSI K8MM-V (MS 7142) has anyone got a modified bios for this board? I've been trying to run a Turion ML32 and an Athlon 64 3000+ I've heard the turion runs succesfully in the K8MM-V board. I have had some success with an abit AV8 motherboard in which I can get the athlon to run but with some issues. Any help would be great, Thanks.
Why do you need a emulation?! Your bios has SLIC already! Are you sure that you know what public key and marker are for? Why do you want to mod that bios? As advised try to install ultimate!! There is no need to mod!! Yen
Ok thanks for more informations. There is only one SLIC, comes from your bios the other from emulator. Your Laptop came with Vista home premium preinstalled. So you have got a valid certificate for it on your DVD!!!!! You can try to install ultimate from retail or system builder DVD. Extract certificate from your oem-dvd and save to c:\. Activate using any ultimate key. AFAIK they are always the same (no matter what OEM). Yen
