Hello beray, You mean you are 70 years young. While sitting here and reading your post, I was suddenly overcome with sadness as your post has an atmosphere of a last goodbye. I see that you also have made contributions to this forum for the benefit of others and let me be the first to say "thank you". In a virtual world such as this, it is very hard to be personal with someone as all the ingredients of a friendship must filter through your fingertip and keyboard. Although it can be enhanced with sight and sound, it can never replace touch, smell, or taste. So, accept my virtual hug as you have touched my heart with your thank you post. Regina
Since I'm also in the list I'd like to add a few words...but I don't find any. I'm attaching to what Regina said. Moving words you used, Regina...using words to express feelings in a way that another person can feel the same is often difficult. You just did that masterly... be blessed, beray!
Big welcome from here as well. I can only wish to reach 70+..still have 40 years to go. That Enterprise key listed is for a Dell, although it will work for any 2003 Ent SLP install, a future WGA could complain if "they" wish to compare slp keys with bios slp strings to make sure everything matches.
Hi beray! I'm very glad to be on your list! You are one of em who amazes me! I hope you're enjoying to be here and have fun to read all the posts. I'm not able to express myself as Regina did, but let me say: Thank you! Yes, you're great! I hope that you don't leave and that I (we) hear from you again......you are one of the people that makes things worthwhile to publish! Kudos to you!
I'm also looking for a Royalty key for "HP Ent win2k3" to try Yen's method. By the way "SS" could you please CRC "pidgen.dll" and "DPCDLL.DL_" from your DELL Ent . Or upload them if you don't mind.
Confused Could some-one tell me which files/key to use for Server 2003 Standard R2 x86 for HP OEM. I'm using the retail image from msdn not volume. Any help would be much appreciated. Please
Hi colinzim, You want the "HP / COMPAQ (OEMBIOS CRC=D107C3EA)" file set, which i'm sure FreeStyler posted here, but I can't find at the moment Then edit your "Setupp.ini" file and use any of the R2 Standard CD Keys. As a bonus the image will work on VPC and VServer as well as HP boxes.
I have Windows Server 2003 Standard R2 with SP2 and HP BIOS. Can someone confirm the best way to make this install pre-activate using HP OEM key? I've read various threads but still unsure as it looks like it could be different depending on if you have R2 or R1. If it cannot be done, I have a trial version of Windows Server 2003 Standard (R1), can this be used to create a full HP OEM version? I have the HP OEMBIOS files that worked for Windows XP Home and Pro (both Retail to OEM and VLK to OEM).
The readme doesn't make it clear... The 4 OEM* files and the dlls/ini/sif from the root for R1? The 4 OEM* files from the R2 folder and the dlls/ini/sif from the root for R2? Is this _just_ for Enterprise or will it work with Standard? I have standard R2 already and don't really want to keep having to find "pure" ISO of other versions. Thanks again
