When I use simplix , the installation usually takes some time, why? I also notice that in the (Install.wim) it shows an update7r2.exe file and that it is executed in runonce... why is that?
Because it needs to integrate/install 54 updates? Afaik, it does the telemetry blocking and installs updates online which couldn't be offline integrated.
Simplix pack 22.1.12 worked superbly. After a round of WU, KB3172605 (13/9/2016) has been proposed. Supposing this was not included in the pack for some elements addressed to telemetry: can be it avoided?
From Simplix blog: updates not included: KB3172605-x86-x64 (Update adds telemetry points to consent.exe) Etc
KB3172605 is excluded because it breaks Bluetooth on some systems maybe some booting issue on others Win7's telemetry is very easy to disable, and it's already included in Monthly Rollup hence the note with each new rollup (with telemetry and processor check disabled)

Updated the OP with the latest 21.1.18 UpdatePack: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...egrate-hotfixes-into-win7-distribution.45005/
Am I correct in guessing that simplex update pack includes the KB2670838 (the evil update) which is included with ie 11 ? As simplix pack installs and updates ie 11 too.. thanks
