Don't talk nonsense. This forum also records every IP address, which means the forum is also spyware by your logic. Also, if you decide to make any accusations, first provide evidence that can be repeated, otherwise there is nothing to talk about.
What would you say if you were trying to install Windows 11 and got a message from Microsoft saying they see you're in a certain country and you need to read this message, and acknowledge having done so?
SiMPLiX is the author of his pack, and he's from Ukraine. He can put in any message he wants. And, comparing an IP range to an internal lookup table does not require any connection. The only connection it attempts at startup is the check for a new version. Except that, it has never tried to make any contact to the outside, on any of my machines.
I would say that they have the right to do whatever they want in their own system. If you are not satisfied with this, build Linux from source, after checking it meets your expectations.
Check the 1st post. Simplix has implemented command line options that allow you to generate an updated install.wim. If you have the very minimal coding skills, you can make one batch file to do that for you automatically with just a double click. Enthusiast also made some scripts to improve this process.
A theory is something proven, but the existence of spying functions in any software is a hypothesis. If there were malicious functions, antiviruses would probably delete these files, but not a single antivirus deletes them. In addition, the program is signed with a certificate, which has also not been revoked. But for some reason, someone started talking about possible spy functions only because the program is limited for aggressor countries. And the author's reputation is called into question without any reason, just as the Russians attacked Ukraine without reason. A little suspicious.
You can use this script. Just replace the Simplix pack in the "pack" folder with a new one and run the script.

Thanks for the post, just wanna point out the size on disk is rounded up to the sector size (4096 bytes usually) except if you used NTFS compression on the file (it could be smaller then)
wow didn't realize the new simplix update pack was out already crazy. Anyway thanks for posting links to simplix & info like all ways.
Installation on Win7 with latest Simplix update of the free software "SUPERAntiSpyware 10.0.1260" gives an error message about "unsigned driver". Works OK on Win10 & 11.
