The x64 image (with all editions updated) doesn't fit to a 4.7GB DVD. To make it fit, remove the following from the DVD, but keep the following files: │ bootmgr │ ├───boot │ bcd │ boot.sdi │ └───sources boot.wim install.wim setup.exe And it should work.
MSMG Toolkit offers the complete removal of manual setup files, meaning it only leaves skeleton bootable iso, only usable for booting and clean install.

I am new here just a question, why would i use this instead of just doing a windows update with them? Just want to understand
This pack can be run to offline update an install.wim or you can run it on a live system, it doesn't install telemetry updates and it solves the kabylake win 7 update issues.
i do the same but in clean installation of windows 7 sp1 editions when i start the pack integrate updates in install.wim show 191 updates??its there any updated iso of win 7 sp1 ? cauze in up show only 80...
On a live install it should do 2 x 80 and one time 30-31 updates. Running on a live install you should rename the pack: UpdatePack7R2--ie11++.exe Now it autoreboots and installs MSIE11. On a clean offline wim it should integrate appr. 191 (depending on the choice to integrate MSIE11 and languagepacks). So, was it a clean install.wim or a previously updated wim?
Wow... I'm completely annoyed that I'm going to introduce myself with a pretty embarrassing question. I am in the process of 'preparing' to reinstall windows 7 ultimate on my relatively new computer due to various glitches that simply cannot be fixed with repair. As I was not the one to install the existing OS, I've been doing a lot of research trying to figure out how best to do it now on my own (ie. download 'finished' torrent of Win7, start from scratch and combine - very scary... etc.) Updates are obviously a big concern (actually, everything is at this point ), so I've been devouring this thread along with a few others. This simplix pack looks exactly what I was looking for but I have a couple of questions that are probably implied in this thread but simply have gone over my head: 1. During my research, I created a list of unwanted/undesirable updates also, and it seems to include quite a few that are not excluded in your list. Is there a way to edit this pack (read: delete individual updates) so it does not install them, or should I just install the pack and then uninstall individually. I'm a little worried that once installed I will not be able to individually id or uninstall them. 2. How recently updated is this pack? Does it include the KB4013389 which I believe is the critical update for the wannacrypt worm? I had thought I was somewhat better than a complete tech-infant, but after joining this forum and reading through it, I realize that compared to all of you I can barely be called a tech-embryo. So please keep that in mind if you (hopefully) choose to answer.
1. No, it can't be edited and it doesn't contain any telemetry related stuff. 2. The current update pack is called: "UpdatePack7R2-17.6.15.exe" that means it's uptodate to June 15. 2017. When you insist on blocking the low level telemetry in 7 it's best to install all and use @abbodi1406's Disable/remove telemetry on 7 script afterwards: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/disable-remove-telemetry-and-tracking-service.68131/
Thank you for such a prompt (and simple) response. I'm still trying to figure out the best (and most idiot-proof) way I should proceed with my re-install and your answer helped. As an FYI, some of the KB updates in my list also related to performance, not just telemetry. And I've also read articles where certain updates were bundled with IE10 and IE11 upgrades - neither of which is recommended as they also seem to interfere with some small processes. But I have seen additional links in the forum with additional KB lists, so it is possible that there are more items on my list that have been addressed than I realize. Thanks for the link. I remembering seeing it several weeks ago, but had lost the link during the last repair attempt and forgot about it. That link along with the registry-tweaks would probably address any concerns I have. Now if I could just wiggle my nose or push a big red button to create a 'finished' disk with everything included... but that's what kind of got me into this mess in the first place, isn't it? Off I go to research hell... hopefully a little wiser thanks to you.
