Anyone know why Simplix hasn't moved 18.2.18 to official release yet? Over 2 weeks in 'testing'..? Has anyone had any issues with this version? I'll just wait till it's official... THANK YOU! for taking over this thread, and for EVERYTHING you do Enthousiast...
On the 2 previous pages it's discussed, it is still a Test version, i didn't notice anything weird but Simplix probably waits for the next patch tuesday to create a new official one (speculation on my part).
I created an updated Win7 install. When I run it to create a new install on a new PC I get a window called "Select the driver to be installed." What do I need to do to get the correct drivers incorporated into the Win7 ISO? Lenovo 910t The window didn't say what driver it needed. Thank you, Docfxit
Mine doesn't say that, but it does look like that. So I would have to say yes. Good guess. Is that driver not included? Is there a way to include the driver in the creation of the Win7.ISO? Thanks, Docfxit
It says "NVME" right after the "PCI-E GEN3 X4". You need the NVMe drivers for it. Integrate them into the install.wim and then put your install.wim inside a windows 10 iso.
This is an actual picture of what mine looks like. It does have NVMe on there. I would have never guessed that meant anything if you hadn't pointed it out. Do you know of some instructions on how to Integrate them into the install.wim? Thank you, Docfxit
Integrate nvme drivers: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-onto-samsung-960-evo-m-2.76297/#post-1407707 nvme updates for win 7 nvme compatibility: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-win7-distribution.45005/page-55#post-1341615
you can simply use Windows 7 Image Updater by @Atak_Snajpera , this tool will integrate all the necessary NVME drivers into boot.wim file. If you don't want to use the tool, you can simply download the needed drivers for you SSD then integrate the drivers manually into boot.wim by following the procedure from the link posted in the previous post. you will have to extract boot.wim from the iso then replace install.wim by boot.wim in the link.
Last time, stop redirecting people in other threads to all sorts of other tools you also are clueless about..........
And he keeps going!!!! No i won't stop as long as the threads are related to the members' needs, he asked for help about integrating NVMe drivers into the iso, i redirected him to the right thread which is @Atak_Snajpera's tool that allows to integrate NVMe drivers automatically into boot.wim and by doing this, his problem will be solved as his SSD will be detected when booting from the new created iso and for you information, i've tested the tool and it works well. I've posted multiple screens in the concerned thread to show my test results. You have a serious problem my friend, if you are really bored, go take care of helping the other members and leave me alone, FGS.
Do I need to integrate all drivers before I run Simplix or does Simplix include some of the drivers? Thanks, Docfxit
Simplix pack only integrates the USB3.x driver install tool. When you use bos911 Updates Integrator you can put drivers in the driver folder.
You only point to other tools in every thread you're in, in the original KMS_VL_ALL thread you point to abbodi1406's version, not even knowing in what thread your posting in, normal people would, out of respect for the OP/DEV not redirect to other tools when the tool/thread you're posting already is capable of doing the job. On the KMSpico thread you keep on doing the same, that's not concidered helping but joining your tool carousel, advising tool after tool, and not even having a basic grasp about how they all work. Integrating one driver: use this tool, etcetc.... Posting old versions of KMS activators, not grasping that the dev's found bugs or incompatibilities. Even posting 100% nonsense about tools, and when some take the time and effort to explain stuff to you, you say: " i already knew that" but 50 posts before show you didn't even a basic clue how it really works. All disrespecting to the original devs, causing only confusion and unnecessarily complicating things. Pissing of dev's and still keep on harassing them, where do i have to stop?
you know what, i've had enough of all this, i don't wannna play this little game anymore, all you do is criticizing all my posts, you are specialised in criticising people without having any consideration with the effort that i'm doing here, i've never claimed to be an expert or somethig like that, i'm far from being an expert and never tried to be disrespectful to anyone, on the contrary i always said that i came here to learn, all i'm trying to do is to learn everyday and help other members as much as i can. This will be my last response to you. I'm done.
Enthousiast is making a good point: it's disrespectful to go to a developer's thread and redirect people to another thread. By doing that, YOU are the one who shows no consideration for the efforts done by people far more skilled than you and me, to give us the tools that make our IT-life easier. They don't ask anything in return, so the least you could do is say THANKS and keep your posts centered on the OP tools.
18.2.18 version does not work properly, it cannot install ie11 and sometimes make the pc freeze. I had to use the 17.12.15 version
Offline it installed all fine: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-win7-distribution.45005/page-80#post-1412101 Online it did too, didn't save the log on the vm, can you post the log file? It's in c:\windows.
