SLIC 2.1 on Dell N-Series system?

    I've managed to unlock my SLIC, the procedure is quite simple but you need to access inside network of Dell.
    Just boot system to dell factory download environment, simply type few command then everything works.
    I hope there will be alternative ways to crack this, cuz from E6410 later dell system will lock this down when you purchased a FreeDOS/Linux system.

    What command doesn't make any different. It requires to interact with Dell certification server which you can only access from inside of dell...

    after reading the instructions of the pro in this forum. I havedownloaded the tools used to open the SLIC for this model.
    But after I finished, the machine will not boot, black screen does not boot into window
    ask no way to recover your original return was not

    would like to know as well, right now i have found SmMfgCfg.exe here

    but it is 16 bit only, how do we run a 16bit software?

    The link you said has only PlatformTags32 but not SmMfgCfg

    when run SmMfgCfg.exe in real dos show a error:
    Can not open the string to token translation file s2token.tbl
    it seem's need s2token.tbl file but not include in archive

    thanks mate for rapid support, but inside the compressed file, my requesting file is not present..:worthy:

    need s2token.tbl file but not include
