Slic 2.1

    Hello,

    On my Dell Optiplex 755 PC, I have Slic 2.0. Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit is installed. Is there a way to get Slic 2.1 so that I can install Windows 7?

    Yes. Flash the BIOS with a SLIC 2.1 bios - There is a tool on here for modifying the BIOS's for you which works very well for Dell bios's.

    Is it safe to flash the BIOS with a SLIC 2.1 BIOS? And where can I find this tool?

    If you are worried about to flash a modified BIOS you can also use Daz loader. :)

    Thank you, are these mods for SLIC 2.1? And is it legal to install Windows 7 after flashing a BIOS?

    I found a BIOS update for my PC on the Dell drivers page. The A22 BIOS. Is it possible that Slic 2.1 is included in the driver?
