Thank for reply,Please use Windows Xp/Vista PE(32-bit) to use this toolkit ,this is best way for 64-bit user now.

I use a different button, because many friends, some only SLIC, some only CERT/PKEY, I think it is better to separate.

    Hi

May I ask how you do this. I was looking at adding code to the Phoenix SLICTool to see if there is an existing SLIC, and to read the RSDT table - which is needed to get the table/oem id string to search the BIOSCODx modules. Both RW-Everything and ACPIScope load low level drivers and runtime - yours doesn't appear to.

I program the SLIC tools in VB.Net, however am not very good at low level stuff. Can handle Win32 calls etc. I was looking at using GetSystemFirmwareTable and EnumSystemFirmwareTable but they are vista and x64 only.

How do you do it?? Do you just search memory until found?? What routine do you use??

    Thanks,
    Andy

Yen is right, first you'll get right to access all the (4G) memory, In XP system you can use M$ Special API , but Vista/Win7 the Special API has not support , you must use a drive . if you 'll use in 64-bit system ,you must use a base 64-bit drive.

Thanks. Looking further I don't think VB.Net can access unmanaged memory anyway.... I think it is too far beyond me to code natively.

For those under x64, try to run under compatibility mode (left click) Properties > Compatibility > Run this program in compatibility mode for:

    Report if works.

    Hi there!

I flashed my modded BIOS (HP) and checked via dump-toolkit...
    RSDT not equal PubKey...

    What does that mean?

But Win7 seems to be activated.

Changed to SLIC DUMP ToolKit V1.06 (Inculd PKey&Cert. Backup)

Not sure but you may have been able to change that yourself by selecting the box on top right corner and going to thread tools
