The procedure is a bit odd. phlash16 /ro=oldrom.rom /s /x dummy.rom You must copy another Phoenix bios onto the USB stick and name it e.g. dummy.rom. The saved bios wil be oldrom.rom The same by using winphlash. You always have to define a dummybios, otherwise it won't save the current one.... Btw. This thread is about server mobos
Wanted to let you guys know after install without any key (just as trial) activation went through just fine. Ran Slmgr -ilc <dell-cert.file> then updated the key and in a second it said that windows is activated. New server is downloading updates now.. What can i say.. I'm happy Good luck to you OleBent if you choose to give it a shot

what a pain in the a*s !!! so why some ROMpaqs from HP for Pavillon computers or notebook are modable and not this one ? the server BIOSes aren't made same as the others ? arg ...
HP / Compaq, Intel and Dell are often using a special modular structure of bios. All bioses are modifiable, if you understand how they work. I'm sure this will be no problem.......the problem is not to know how to decompress the bios(modules)... I'll have a closer look at weekend........but chances are IMO low... @Ssnvit Thanks for report, enjoy...
