I can confirm that this method works for x64 versions as well..but not sure whether it will work for retail converted to VL... it worked for 64x VL for me
He ailef I built my own PC so it's not an HP or any other brand. And Office is enabled forever with your methode Why SCRLIST.EXE will unactivate the wrong systems in october??????? why october??????
@ CODYQX4 I agree with you. I can confirm the program srclist.exe and all batch files are used strictly for nothing. The only interest in this case is to have this MAK key. That works beautifully
Can confirm it doesn't work with RETAIL converted to VL in x64 or x86. But i have just copied over the config.xml to a 64bit VL (proper version: 14.0.4760:1000) with empty config.xml and it activated fine. So it has to be a proper VL version i am guessing. I didnt bother with the swsetup stuff, just added config.xml to the proplus.ww dir - so all the rest of the stuff doesnt seem to be needed..
this is not my method, it comes from HP oem. Microsoft will start the activation control of office 2010 in october. about SCRLIST, it's just an assumption. we'll see how it is in next months.
yes SRClist, what means MSI ? in fact i dont understand the all sentence, someone can explain me in simple words what's the use of the SRCLIST.EXE file ? i'm not english, thanks. i even used the translator in french but it means nothing.
The link provided by Boops at megaupload looks good. But before using it, make sure that the antivirus protection is turned off for a minute atleast till the installation finishes or else, the .exe file would get deleted instantly when downloaded. I've tried it & its genuine....
Sole change of Product IDs also works. I changed only the KMS Product ID to MAC Product ID (any seems to be OK) on already installed Office 2010 and it works. The same applies for already installed Visio 2010 Standard and Professional. (I have not found a MAC for Visio 2010 Premium, so I cannot check). The file SRCLIST.EXE has nothing to do with the process, so you can succeed without. The log of TCP/IP trafic shows communication with activation servers, so it seems that a "problem" is on the other end of the "internet line".
This is an old thread, it is more than 1 year old already. The office sub forum hasn't existed when it was created. And yes, red is my color and not yours, lol, please refrain from pseudo moderating, thanks.
