    Hi everyone.

I have here an ACER Aspire T180 desktop that encountered an error whilst updating the BIOS. It was an un-modded BIOS from thier site and I was stupid enough to use acers' Windows based updater.

Anyway it encountered an error and after rebooting I am now stuck at 'Verifying DMI pool data...'

Is there any way to recover from this as it doesn't even get a chance to read the CD/DVD drives or USB Sticks?

Any help would be much apprectiated.

    Did you reset CMOS?
Pull power, open case, disconnect power from the mobo, pull CMOS battery from the mobo
    Leave for 10 min
    Reconnect, could/should/maybe will work

Yes I've tried resetting the CMOS but with no luck. I think I may have to order a new BIOS chip :(.
