Too much mess these days on MDL, 8 section is become unreadable.... if there are useful posts, you make hard to find it... Windows 8 as OS reflects that situation.... Enjoy it guys!!
Try and explain that to a group of children ! No one seems to be able to read these days. Some one should start a cleanup.
This is why I mostly skip the Windows 8 section now. I don't care about the activation, getting legit key on 15th anyway so the 30 day trail is no problem.
Reading this thread puts a big smile on my face. I am one of those idiots looking for one-click solutions. But I hope I may serve as an example of being one of those who actually try to read up and show some appreciation for your work here. Which I do. I am happy with Daz and have used Loader for most of my setups the latter two years or so. KMS for Office. Never had a serious glitch and if I had any (Enterprise on a HP Desktop) I have reported it according to what was required and gotten an appreciated reply. So, yes, you will get spammed by non-cunning, non-reading idiots. But feel the love from those who don't spam you, even if we have little or next to no clue.
Stardock has an app called Start8 which puts back the orb & its features back to Win *.I guess tht solves ur problem.The main thing is the speed.Win 8 is 3 times faster.
Stradock has a start button software addon for win8 called Start8. It works for me and it enables us to boot directly to the desktop.
You should be proud. 2300 hits every minute and MDL still hasn't crashed! I think even M$ servers wouldn't handle that.
After reading the recent posts from the various threads in the Windows 8 section today (8/16/2012), I have to say that the MDL Windows 8 section that I once knew is no longer. The questions being asked and begging on these threads is a joke. I knew that hell would break lose but this is much more than I ever imagined.
While I agree about the begging for keys etc etc and other things that can be answered just by reading the first post there is also the problem of people making smartass & snide comments when someone asks a legit question.Its an all round clusterFK.
Sad case of affairs indeed. The Windows 8 section really needs a big cleanup. Questions, answers, information ....are all over the place. Give me, Get me, I want ..... blah blah blah
Yeah, the begging, leeching and stupid questions do seems to be at an all time high, worse than with Seven or Vista. But it will die down in a month or two and we can get things back in order again.

Using Windows 8 right now is just in a testing environment for me . Everything is trial and error ,then fix it!
