-=fantômas=-, you are a great photographer and you master your gear perfectly. But IMHO the trend to go for HDR (exposure bracketing / overlay...) has been overdone. I think some of your pictures would look better if they are kept more natural ('natural' HDR without extra filters, no extra grain). Furthermore I think this trend will last a short period only. It is just my opinion. I like HDR's like this Frankfurt; Germany. Photo by Andreas Tofahrn But since you have the raw data you can make different jpgs anytime. One question: Do you shoot pictures by order of customers or do you make your own style and offer the pics, or just as a hobby? I myself didn't make HDR's so far since you need a tripod which I don't like to carry to where I shoot, lol... Anyway keep up your good work. Great to have different artists.
Thank you Yen. It's just my hobby and for fun. I know that sometimes exaggerate the HDR process, but somehow I like. The real world is for me a bit too gray, so even though I make more surreal images. It improves my mood. I think slowly over time my photographs are more natural. I'm trying different options, but so far it is as you can see.
Perhaps I should try some HDR's by myself as well . Actually I am not a fan of 'post' processing images. I think the most important thing is the choice / composition of the image. And your images are very well composed. Thank you for posting your pictures.
I prepared three examples. 3 jpgs merged in Photomatix Pro, finished with Photoshop CC. 1. Fused - Fusion/Natural 2. Tone Mapped - Detail Enhancer 3. Tone Mapped - Tone Compressor Of course, the possibilities are so much more. You can choose which version you like the most.
