1. You would be the first who is using a LTSB/C genuinely. 2. Specially when you ask such questions here on MDL, instead of the IT department of your business.
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-105#post-1216064 It works only with "usual" enterprise. No LTSB/LTSC. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...bat-wrapper-for-all-versions-1607-1809.78054/
If I understand correctly (which I may not) LTSB/C can only activate using a key management server. So pretty much anyone using it outside of a corporate network running a KMS would not be using it genuinely. Isn't "slipstreaming" sort of an outdated term? dism makes adding updates to an image fast and easy. Back in the NT days you had to jump through some hoops to pre-install updates, but that's no longer the case.
Hi, when I use the tool it said "updated_sept_2018" for the converted ISO. Is this one the faulty setup that deleted user document folders after updating from 1803? Since I cannot get 1809 from WU, for some reason, I'm planning to download the VL ISO (or convert EVAL to VL with this tool) and make a bootable USB flash and then install it directly to the current 1803. So, is this converted ISO faulty one from September or the new one that rereleased on December? If not, is there a way to download/convert the new updated ISO? Thanks. Ps: I have 1803 Enterprise with up-to-date CUs and other updates.
Hey, just used this app to create the latest Win 10 1809 ISO. Seemed to work great for me. However, Windows 10 system I ran it on flagged it as infected: Program:Win32/Unwaders.C!ml I'm surprised in 46 pages of posting no one else has mentioned this, almost more suspicious than the actual alert. I'm sure I'll just hear "false positive" and very likely the case, however would be nice for an official response. Thanks.
@archangeliques https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...indows-10-iso-to-download.78662/#post-1493092 Read comments from @Enthousiast If you like you can also get Windows 10, version 1809 (Updated Dec 2018) - Build 17763.194 (Official MVS/VLSC) iso´s here
Well, then the question is When will The SVF2ISO or CMD tool be updated to offer the 1809 Dec. Refresh iso's? I'm not interested downloading ISO files from some unknown upload sites. Thanks.
Option 2: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-svf-repository.63324/page-144#post-1491992
Right you are. I am using it in a non-technical way. I think the correct term in these days is integrating updates in the offline image. Your statements, @Enthousiast (https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ver-2016-techbench.77028/page-46#post-1492971), and possibly others to come urge some clarifications. I have registered here because the forum rules explicitly forbid piracy etc. Like the majority of knowledge workers, I have a corporate laptop with the right to install our enterprise volume licenses. A number of people (see the post above) still assumes that IT departments are gangs of tech geeks in a black shirt. Surprise! In the days of BYOD there are no IT departments at all in most companies. There is a bureaucrat who downloads an ISO for you and hands over a product key after you fill a bunch of legal papers. Windows is cheap nowadays, very cheap. There are no more margins for customer support. You call for it and they just advertise you Office 365. And in case you query about enterprise products, they suggest to ask your IT department, where in fact they have a degree in law. Hacking the copy of Windows that you legally own is different from stealing a product key or circumvent the activation mechanisms. Installing/running Windows in a legal, though unsupported way, is not welcome on Microsoft official forums. Because they are now the almost-authoritative channels for supporting customers. I realise that deserving the best experience (LTSB/C) to corporate customers only, might encourage unethical practices on behalf of geekier consumers and hopefully Microsoft will change this attitude.
MDL being the forum founded on the development of the activation of MSFT products, by slic modding, DAZ Windows Loader (based on the slic/oem:slp developments, by MDL Admin @Daz himself and the development of KMS emulation tools, it's not prohibited discussing it in any way (only tools, locally supported by the original dev of course). Having seen people like mehdibleu (banned for over 30 times now) handing out illegaly obtained MAK's or used up old keys which need telephoning MSFT for activation, and many others mentioning using MAK's, which at least came from questionable sources, it was a 99.9% chance you are one of them. And at last, when there is a legit business relation to MSFT it's most likely that would be the place to ask if the 2016 LTSB key, you got from them (or an official VLSC reseller) would also work on 2019 LTSC. This is all offtopic for this thread.
Hi Friends, I get error using this tool. Seems some CURL argument is missing? ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [ INFO ] Downloading Target ISO SVF. [ INFO ] Name : en_windows_server_2019_x64_dvd_4cb967d8 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ curl: option -H: requires parameter curl: try 'curl --help' or 'curl --manual' for more information ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Also, seems with manual fix, SVF files not able to download.
Could you please add support for windows server 2012 r2? its teh win 8.1 based server version and given its the last before win10 based once quite usefull
Got the following error while I was downloading the 2019 LTSC (about halfway through the download): [ERROR] WinTLS: Failed to encrypt a message! Error: The specified data could not be encrypted. (80090329) It continued downloading afterwards and then I got it again at the very end a couple of times but it finished downloading and compiling just fine (or so it seems). Do you think it's safe to use the ISO despite the errors or should I try to find a different mirror or try downloading with the converter again?
If the hash showed a match for the LTSC ISO, it should be fine, smv.exe would error if the SVF or the source ISO would be corrupted.
Wow, great tool this is! Thank you. I downloaded the 1809_2_VLSC Business version and got 'SW_DVD9_Win_Pro_Ent_Edu_N_10_1809_64-bit_English_International_MLF_X21-96503' which will presumably give me the choice of Enterprise / Pro / N or not on install? Although I'm not sure what 17763.xxx build it will produce? Then I saw the post here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-17763-1-107-pc-r.77945/page-220#post-1491810 That would be a build 17763.194, but begs the question that if I used e.g this: d3701313888fb204ff9b31e7479386301a80d3a2 *en-gb_windows_10_business_editions_version_1809_updated_dec_2018_x64_dvd_71601304.iso Does THAT .iso ALSO give me a choice of what version to install too i.e Pro / Enterprise / N / not N? Thanks.
SW_DVD9_Win_Pro_Ent_Edu_N_10_1809_64-bit_English_International_MLF_X21-96503 = 1809 Oct. Refresh = 17763.107 d3701313888fb204ff9b31e7479386301a80d3a2 *en-gb_windows_10_business_editions_version_1809_updated_dec_2018_x64_dvd_71601304.iso = 1809 Dec. Refresh = 17763.194 The content of the iso's can be found at the OP of the sticky 1809 thread
