    HI,Andy
    sorry my eng
    killergd00 suggestion
    1,在没有RW文件时,软件就自动修改
    16D0A23E-C09C-407D-A14A-AD058FDD0CA1-XXX.ROM的ALASKAA M I跟SLIC一致;

1.when user mod bios w/o rw report, auto replace 16D0A23E-C09C-407D-A14A-AD058FDD0CA1-XXX.ROM module "ALASKA AMI" string

    consistent with the slic

2.when user select "module" method,if bios no "4C494E55-5849-5342-4554-544552212121-XXX.ROM" module, auto insert this module.

2a.Many people do not select their motherboard manufacturer "Asus" is set to, because his mobo is not Asus !This time the

software defaults to the ssv2, likely to cause a brick

3.Do not modify the way the default is "ssv2", this is easy to brick! In addition to using the dynamic method of Asus, MSI

board, now software default that "ssv2"
Recommend other motherboards default "module" approach, if not search 4C494E55-5849-5342-4554-544552212121_XXX.ROM,Software

on their own into the 4C494E55-5849-5342-4554-544552212121 module
So even without SLIC, not brick!

    这样的话,基本就不用人工干预了。
    So, without human intervention

It crashed too. This is what I got when trying on 32bit XP:-

The only time I heard the Phoenix tool successfully decompressed this BIOS is on the notebook itself, Dell Latitude E6520. I don't have this notebook though. I'm curious why I can't decompressed it on any of my computer.

    Which one to use?

    Andyp,

I am still trying to figure this out. Any help would be appreciated.

I finally got my P8Z68 motherboard with the UEFI BIOS. I installed Windows 7 and ran the RW-Everything program to produce the ACPI report. I then used this report as input to run your program, version 1.91, and produce a modified BIOS. I have run your program using the following settings: 1. other, dynamic, and the RW report, 2. asus, dynamic, and the RW Report, 3. other, dynamic, using a dummy (empty) RW report, 4. asus, dynamic, and a dummy RW report, and a few other combinations. All of these executions finished successfully and produced a SLIC BIOS. All the results are different from each other and also different from a modified BIOS I downloaded from MDL earlier that supposedly worked. So my question (you can guess) is which one should I try to use? Is it possible that more than one of these modified BIOS files will work? What would be your recommended settings when I have a RW Report available?
