Serg, I searched and found the way how i could by using /nodate option on winflahs, and then i flashed orginal 315 version bios and then, the modded bios (SLIC.315) you gave the former e-mail of you, but no succsess windows still asking for activation...
1. Create flash.bat file with this content: Code: winflash /NODATE copy it to the folder with winflash.exe and run "as Administrator" 2. Can you upload the screens (Basic and Advanced tabs) of the Slictoolkit for modified bios ?
1) Is the module compressed in the original?? There is code that prevents an uncompressed module being replaced with a compressed one. 2) I have just inserted 2 modules into a test EFI, one after the other, with no problems. Could you link to specific efi and modules?? Andy
Serg, I did what you said, ant then i installed serial and certificat through "My digital Activator" tool, slic results as below, I'm still having warning that that copy of Windows not original; PS: I flashed original bios and than the SLIC.315 one View attachment 12599
Serg, Tito and Haiuduongbros; Thanks guys for all your tolerance and tricks that you gave me on this process... I brought down the windows with your support... Thank you all... Regards...
After I inserted slic 2.1 the bios of my asus P8Z68-V Pro mobo using Phoenixtool everthing works fine, with the exeception of sleep mode under Linux. In Win7 it works OK. Going back to the original bios doesn't solve the problem. I even downgraded to an earlier bios, modded or not, but that didn't help. The problem must be on bios level. Any suggestions? chi09es.
Well you've worked out it's not related to the mod by going back to the unmodded bios, looks like its a bios problem, shoot off an email to ASUS tech support. Sometimes sleep issues are resolved by changing from S1+S3 to just S3 or S1 and do use a sleep state, not just Auto, so if it's on Auto change to S3.
What I have done is disconnect everything including disks, drives and booting from an usb flash, that worked OK. So the problem must be in the bios. All settings are default. I guess that somewhere in the process of updating or downgrading of the bios something has gone wrong, probably with part of the bios that is not present in all bios updates, like the orom. What I need is a way to completely overwrite the whole bios. Also resetting the cmos and removing the cmos battery have not helped.
Just like to thank andyp for this tool. For the past 3 days I couldn't find out anywhere what file name to use for an Acer Aspire 5334 using an Insyde BIOS. Thanks to this tool I now know that it's PAWF5x64.fd. Cheers.
Hi ! Andy and all good guys For AMI aptio/EFI bios, is the tool needed the RW everything report for mod bios ? I find when I mod the bios WITHOUT the RW everything report, the following part will be generated in the log. OEM/Table IDs identified are: 1. _ASUS_Notebook Pubkey (x1) Marker (2.1) (_ASUS_Notebook) (x1) But, if I I mod the bios WITH the RW everything report, the above part WILL NOT be found in the log. For Mod AMI aptio/EFI bios, MUST the RW everthing report be needed ? In fact, should the log include "OEM/Table IDs identified are: ...." in the SUCCESSFULL modded bios ? Thanks Andy for your great works !
Modded successfully a ASrock Z68 Pro3-M, Bios 1.60 with PhoenixTool 1.93 and module method. Thx, Andy for your great work!
