Hi! I normaly mod ASUS EFI bioses like this: Manufacturer: ASUS SLIC: ASUS SLP: ASUS RW: flash the original bios and then created with RM-Everything Method: Dynamic successfully in P8Z68 - V PRO and P8Z68 DELUXE Now i have a K53SC and N53SV, ill do the same but with the module method? here is the tool log: LZMA compression method used Recovery filenames are: K53SC.bin Pubkey found in 62B35DC0-427C-46BB-9E88-9B941FDBC7C3_0_398.ROM at 4 Pubkey found in A22E25DC-1277-47B8-A59C-DA1344F4A111_0_396.ROM at 4 Marker found in E2463050-CE2A-4F3C-BA8F-A738AC66999B_0_400.ROM at 4 'SLIC' string found in 9EF04158-EB39-4EFF-A8DA-B75119BAC9F4_1_393.ROM at 8C3 OEM/Table IDs identified are: 1. _ASUS_Notebook Pubkey (x2) Marker (2.1) (_ASUS_Notebook) (x1) Another question is i use a modded bios from the web my MAC address will change?, if that the case, How can i recover my original MAC address? Thanks!
Howdy Andyp and experts around! I'd like know if there's anyway to replace the bootlogo in my bios - Acer 5738G - Phoenix Bios. Would be a nice add on to the tool andyp! Also, got an HP DM1-3250BR.. I'd like to unlock the hidden options menu to be able to use a SSD from OCZ.. It requires SATA mode configured as IDE instead of AHCI and I heard only that the only way to mess with it is enabling that hidden menu. It's hard to implement something like that in your tool Andyp? Anyway, again, Thank you very much for you tool and nice to see you still using the avatar I've made to you
Thanks a lot akcent, works great.. With the other k53sc, use the same or ill do another backup of the bios?
SLP2.EFI = A1902AB..........ROM It already is in all P8xxx and P9xxx models UEFI ASUS It still is not checked up. It only idea. To insert KEYS and S2LP in the form of modules it is possible. Probably it is blocked. I shall test in the near future.
Hi ! Andy Thanks for the tool. I successfully mod the Asrock H67m bio 1.7 with Tool and rw everything report by the module method that can activate the Windows Vista and 7. But, the tool seems will choose ssv2 method rather than module method. For Asrock H67m, ssv2 seems incorrectly mod the bios as NO OEM ID can be identified by the tool. Is it the module method correct to be used by default ? If so, would u please change the default method as module method ? Thanks.
