luky - I tried your bios again from the link you gave me, i just extracted it to my desktop with uniextract, pointed phoenixtool to its folder and had no problem at all extracting/modding the bios. Are you sure your pathname doesn't go over the set limit? have you tried just putting it in a folder like C:\temp, just the fl* files from that {app} folder? I am running w7 64bit.

Ok- Yen has got it in one, you need to decompress the 6fuj35us.exe with uniextract first, if you don't it comes up saying its not a phoenix bios.

Solør is a nice show that Phoneixtool v.1.00RC7 not Bios .FL1 work. Work is normally Phoenixtool v.1.00. I just wanted to point out that the error in RC7 and I ask you for help. Thank you!

I wonder if an antivirus program would block it in any way, or the fact you're trying to do it off drive D: rather than C:

Turn off anti-virus program, PhoenixTool start from C: drive, but the result is a picture attached.

this was my guess as well if some other program is interfering with it. However with disabled Security Essentials still does not work.

edit: figured out what is an issue, its windows region & language formats setting. If i set it to Slovenia it doesnt work, but it does work if its set to US. Funny however is that it doesnt work if its set to UK as well, tought half of you is from england!

Damn, I thought I had solved the language problems. Thanks for this. Will load slovenia language pack and try here.

It actually does not matter on which SLIC you use, however, I think it would be a good practice to have the SLIC matches with motherboard brand.

yes i used TOSINV 2.1 SLIC

Hi andyp , yes i used TOSINV 2.1 SLIC you can see by the tool log
I flashed using the manufacturer provided method ( meaning i reinserted the moded .rom file into the original .ima file that is inside the bootable .iso that you burn and boot from to flash). Dont know if there is another safe method to do it or a better flashing method to get the slic2.1 or is a bug in the tool??.
