Hi ! Andy and all good guys

I find the new 2.08 tool modify less roms than the old version like 2.01 etc. I find usually 4 to 5 roms modified by 2.08 while the old version 2.01 modifies 8 to 10 roms. I test it with MSI H61-P31 2.4 UEFI. I find the modified UEFI by 2.08 Tool CANNOT boot up by M-flash with new UEFI in USB flash. It makes me a bit being figthened.

Do anyone know why for less roms modified ? Have any MSI H61-P31 user tried successfully with modified 2.4 version UEFI by 2.08 Tool ?

    Many thanks in advance

    Hi

There should be no differences. Changes are only made to improve compatibility and hopefully mod more BIOSes.
Could you post a link to the BIOS please.

    Thanks
    Andy

Edit: looked at the 2.4 BIOS from MSI H61M-P31 - neither tool mods correctly - the module method tries to insert 69xx and 99xx modules when it doesnt need to.

    All,

I have made quite a few changes to the tool recently. I try and regression check everything but there are so many EFIs and so many nuances that I may have missed things.

So I won't add any new features or make any big changes for a while.... please let me know if there are BIOSes that used to work with previous versions and now no longer mod correctly.

    Thanks
    Andy
