Thanks, but I've tried that with the same result. I think the BIOS is dynamically updating the RSDT on boot. The original BIOS didn't have a SLIC, not even a 2.0.
Hey how can I check if a modded bios' table is ok before flashing? If I load it into Phoenixtool, it says it's found it but I can't verify against a certificate (greyed out). If I select a Slic, it then lets me choose a certificate, but it checks it against the Slic I selected, not what's in the bios!
Hello, i have problem with my DELL Latitude E4310 laptop, after successfully upgrading my bios revision x22 (dont know why not AXX), after reboot i got black screen and nothing happens i tried A06 bios version from official dell website. How can i recover my bios or what should i do to make him work again. BTW i cant extract hdr or rom file from any of this model bios versions in dell website, just nothing happens after i write -writehdrfile in cmd(nothing happens) or Dos(unknown command) Also phoenixtools writes me cant extract hdr file increase memory to 640/xxxx/xxxx right click-> properties, but i cant find phat memor properties on my windows 7 64bit Can someone extract that hdr for me or give me instructions of how to do that Thank You very much!
Thanks for your reply. Did you have MSI M/B with similar .exe format BIOS? As I remember that it won't unpack the rom file and keep it after reflash BIOS. I'm looking for the solution to mod the BIOS with .exe format directly.
Every time I update by running the .exe the unpacked rom is left on my key. My key is a 4gb fat32. All the .exe files are in the root of my key.
