No, that's what the tool comes up with simply when first loading the bios, before all the options become available.
Sorry! I don't have much experience putting stuff up to host and it was the first one that come to mind. I'll mentally note sendspace and mediafire for future use.
SLIC 2.2 Mod for Dell Precision M6300, M4300 and M2300 Can someone please help me? Maybe Andyp, can You help me? I didn't get any answer to my post until now.
Ok, so I actually tried to do the A15 update on my M6300. Using PhoenixTool 2.19 and SLIC v2.1 (M09), it still generates the correct modified HDR and bios.gz file, but it's no longer flashable using the M6300 A13, like I did with the A14. It gets an error verifying when comparing the flashed firmware. What does work is using the HDR BIOS recovery method (see link in my signature). I renamed the modified M6300A15_SLIC.HDR to M6300XX.HDR (requires 7.3 filename format). It flashed no problem and now I'm running M6300 A15 + SLIC v2.1 (M09). You should be able to do something similar with the M4300 and M2300 modified HDR files. WARNING: So I went into the BIOS and saw the what I believe is the new security feature (not sure if it was there in A14). There's an option to turn on signed firmware updates. It says that once you do this, you cannot flash unsigned ones. I wonder if BIOS recovery still works to go back to an earlier BIOS though...
