    andyp,

I don't have much experience with assembly, but regarding the old Dell BIOS for which there is no compressor currently - once the BIOS is decompressed wouldn't it be possible to replace the decompression module/code in the BIOS with one from a newer BIOS for which a compression routine exists, and then compress with the new scheme?

Just one question: is there a reason that the Dell pubkey and marker files are not included in the 1.35 package like in 1.34 and before?
thanks a lot for your reply

Not needed for a while. Can compress SLIC itself since 1.30

"New BIOSCOD1.ROM Module is 1 bytes too big" over and over again.

Try a different SLIC. FSC and TOSH INV always seem to compress well

    Hello,
I wanted to Mod Dell Latitude E5500 Bios A15. Slic-Dump-Tool V3.2 shows an error by the Original Bios. (View Pic). How can I test the modded Bios?
And when I modd the Bios with SSV2, massage4 appears. Does it work correct or not?
    Plz help!
