    Hey Roman!

Just wondering where you got the bios from as the MSI www only has v1.7 released.
    Is there a ftp??

    Thanks.

Folks.... rather embarrasing... but I don't actually have a copy of the 1.72 version to re-upload to the sever (which is now fixed... thanks guys :D)
If anyone has a copy of the zip that matches the MD5 in the first post - could you PM me with a link

    Thanks
    Andy

    Hello,

i've tried this phoenix tool 1.42 for my Acer laptop (travelmate 290) with insyde bios.

Tool complains it`s not an insyde flash rom file....

    I've checked it but from slicdump i get ¨Insyde BIOS /ACPI 1.0¨...

It's quite an old lappie but, with enough RAM, could run win7.

    Any clue to this?

    Thank you :)

So it appears that some modules are sensitive to be in a particular location
